In the Darkroom: After the storm

27 February 2017 was a good day to not have to drive in Seattle. Traffic got off to a terrible start with an overturned tanker truck that caused terrible delays on I5. And then some intense, weird weather added to the misery. I'm not exaggerating when I write that within the span of 15 minutes we experienced rain, hail, snow, thunder, and lightning. I've never seen anything like it. It wasn't all bad, though. It made for a nice late winter scene in Capitol Hill's Cal Anderson Park. I shot this early in the morning on 28 February with a Fujifilm X100T. I didn't do much to it in Lightroom. I cropped a little bit on the right edge and increased the contrast a few points, which probably isn't even noticeable. The composition isn't great - I think the light pole is a distraction. But it was really early in the morning. I didn't want to be walking around a dark park in the cold.
