On the Streets: Differing Perspectives

The following images are technically the same photo. I’m curious which one people prefer. “They’re all lousy” is an acceptable response, but I’d still be interested in hearing how people react to perspective shifts.

The next time you look at architecture photography, have a look at the buildings and the lines. Most lenses distort the lines of buildings. You’ve seen it - snap a photo in Manhattan and it looks like a Leaning Towers of Pisa all around. Architecture photographers sometimes use tilt+shift lenses that allow them to get straight lines. You can also use perspective tools in programs like Lightroom and Photoshop.
