The Crop

This will be a quick post. Last night I went to Nacho Borracho to hear a friend’s DJ set. Great music with an added benefit – she’s a great photographer, and I like hearing about what film and cameras she’s shooting with. (I wanted to use films there instead of film. I think the Brits put an s on the end of film to make it plural. Do we do that in the States?)

I took a photo of a friend sitting at the bar. I thought the light from his phone combined with the vibrant colors and red lights would make for a good photo. It didn’t. But when I looked at the photo in Lightroom, I was curious how far (or tight) I could crop it. The crop is below. It’s a tiny tiny part of the photo, which I took from about 6 feet away at 24mm on a Fujifilm X-H1 (which would be roughly the equivalent of a 36mm full frame.)
