Practice what you preach. If today's Worldometers numbers are correct, something weird just happened in Washington. I give up trying to make heads or tails of it. (Update at end.)

Sorry, I didn't grab the column headers. +2,177 is New Cases. Big jump if correct. I'm hoping it's a mistake. I like the Worldometers site, it's convenient and fast, but it always pays to double check for corrections.

If accurate, the cases doubled day to day in King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties. That seems strange. I'll post today and yesterday (respectively) from the counties page.

I'll come back and check these numbers later. That kind of jump seems strange.

I checked the Seattle Times coronavirus daily update, and it does seem like there might be a known reporting error. Here's the link (that site has running updates, so the link may not take you directly to the relevant portion - you can probably skip it and take my word for the possibility of duplicates):
