Well hello there

Excuse me for a moment while I dust off the cobwebs! This feels unnervingly strange. I know I've been gone for a while, but in the big scheme of things, it hasn't been that long. It feels like I'm having to re-learn the internet just to fire up this old blog.

I hope you've all been well. I apologize for going dark there. It wasn't intentional. I lost my posting stride for a bit and just kept putting off trying to get back on that horse. If you've ever had a blog or a website, I'm sure you can relate.

But blogs have a way of getting into one's bones.

Just a quick post tonight. Call me superstitious or weird, but I didn't want to have zero posts in January 2022. I hope your year has gotten off to a good start. I think Omicron visited most of the world in January. If it came for you, I hope you quickly saw that unwelcome guest to the door.
