On the Streets: A Game of Thrones
Westlake Park in downtown Seattle is small, but it punches above its weight. It is frequently the site of protests, marches, and community gatherings. But it also draws people to its outdoor tables for lunch breaks, ping pong, and chess.
I have always loved seeing people play chess outside in urban environments. I’d always stop and watch for a bit in New York City and DC. The concentration, the fast-paced moves, and the intensity. I wonder who won this game.
