Scratch Deli

It feels a little like a betrayal. I was on my way to Cafe Argento, my neighborhood coffee shop, when it happened. I looked across the street and saw Scratch Deli for the first time. I looked south towards Cafe Argento to see if they could see me. They couldn’t. I hurriedly crossed the street. The egg salad sandwich was delicious, the local artwork on the walls was great**, and the people were friendly. I went back for the veggie chili the next day.

Don’t worry Argento, this isn’t goodbye – that Big Ol’ Breakfast Sammich and the Vashon coffee are tough to beat.
