On the Streets: Odd little march through Capitol Hill

I stumbled on a small, strange right wing march through Capitol Hill on 25 August 2019. It ended in Cal Anderson Park. The number of marchers and people opposing them was small. Really small. But the police presence seemed relatively large, and it was tense. I think the photo below (cropped) captures that tension. I also think we can expect to see a lot more of this during the presidential campaigns.

(I’m testing out Substack to see if it’s a better way to publish my photojournalism efforts. Jury’s still out. There’s a lot to like about the platform and what they’re trying to do with it, but I’m not sure it’s the right tool for me.)
