Out of the Shoebox: Merce Lemon

I used to go to Joe Bar daily. Man, that's a good coffee shop. That's where I met Merce. If you own a coffee shop, she's one of those people you want to hire. Always had time to talk to everyone. I eavesdropped on a lot of great discussions about movies, music, books, and bikes.

Shortly before she left Seattle she played at a house show. I went and took some photos. I've posted the photos here and there. But as I was going through my photos, my hard drive started making some funny noises, so my first thought was oh no, I'm about to lose a lot of photos. My second thought was, ok, I'm up to September 2017, this was a great show - post these as a little backup insurance. (Note: I don't do a lot of commercial/client work, but when I do, that immediately gets backed up, I cull, do the edits, and send the images to the client.)

If you're in Pittsburgh, catch one of Merce's shows after the pandemic. Incredible singer-songwriter.
