I need to get off this damn computer. For a year. Won’t happen. I’ve clicked on just about every stranded story I’ve seen during this pandemic. This one at The New York Times (written by Emily Palmer) looks at some of the sailors who were mid-journey when the world turned and things started shutting down. It’s worth a read. It’s centered on the U.S. Virgin Islands. I appreciated the pragmatic responses of the leaders who are having to weigh keeping the locals safe and trying to look out for others.
