PNW Communities: Run & Walk with Pride (Seattle)

On 4 June 2017, runners, walkers, and their friends (many of the four-legged variety) enjoyed a beautiful day of friendly competition at the Run & Walk with Pride 4k/10k, which was held at Seattle’s Seward Park. Seattle Frontrunners, “one of the oldest, largest and most successful LGBT running clubs in the world”, organized the event, with the proceeds designated for the Ingersoll Gender Center. Sunday’s race was the 34th annual Run & Walk with Pride.
Seattle Frontrunners had professional photographer David Jaewon Oh shooting the event, so I’d check his site or the event’s main site for some great photos. The event’s site already has the race results and some excellent group shots. I’ve added some of my photos below. It was a lot of fun taking them. If any of the participants would like copies, please just send me a note – sbhopper8 at gmail dot com or through Instagram. I’ll be happy to email them to you. (Note: I added the photos in columns of 3. If you click on an image it will open a slideshow. However, there are separate sections of photos – the slideshow won’t cycle through all the images, so be sure to scroll all the way down if you are looking for an image. Something I’ll need to keep in mind for next time.)
